Selk vs Jobber

A simpler, lower-cost Jobber alternative for small crews

An honest side-by-side for contractors with 1 to 10 people. Prices are list prices with monthly billing, checked on October 22, 2026 from Jobber’s pricing page.

Most contractors who look for a Jobber alternative aren’t unhappy with the software — they’re unhappy with the math. Per-tier pricing and paid add-ons mean the bill grows every time the crew does, and half the platform is built for an office you don’t have.

Selk is the alternative shaped like your actual business. One pipeline — New Job → Estimate → Schedule → Done → Invoice → Paid — on your phone. Solo $29/month. Contractor $79/month with up to five workers. Contractor 10 $129/month. Workers are always free, the worker app is separate (your crew sees their jobs, hours and pay — never your prices), and everything is included: price book, scheduling, recurring jobs, partial payments, van stock, license reminders, QuickBooks sync, six languages, offline use. No add-on store, no tier that unlocks the button you needed.

Switching is an afternoon, not a project: import your price book and client list from a spreadsheet, and the 14-day free trial needs no card — run Selk next to Jobber on real jobs and keep whichever earns it. Built by an electrician in Houston, Texas.
